This site is general information only. It is not legal, visa, immigration, tax or financial advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to move anywhere, or to spend or invest money.
- The scorecard only does maths on the numbers you give it. A high score means the city fits the weights and scores you entered. It doesn't mean the move is right, safe or possible.
- The site has no visa rules, tax rates or living costs built in. Any numbers on the site, including the worked example, are rounded or illustrative. Don't rely on them.
- Rules and prices change. Always check with official sources, such as embassy and government websites, and with a licensed professional before you make decisions.
- We do our best to keep the tool working correctly, but we can't promise it's free of errors. You use it at your own risk.
Privacy
No accounts, no database
You don't sign up, and there's no database. The scorecard runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us.
When you press Save
Your scorecard is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It stays there until you delete it. You can delete it here:
When you share a link
A share link holds your whole scorecard inside the link itself, after the # sign. That part of a link isn't sent to our server. But anyone who has the link can open it and see your scorecard. So don't put private details in city or criteria names.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers.
Other services the site uses
- Hosting. Like all web hosts, ours keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and which pages were requested, to run and protect the service.
- Fonts. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts. This means your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address.
- Email list. If you join the email list, your email address goes to our email provider so they can send you emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
