Most families compare cities in their heads, or in a messy spreadsheet. I did too, until I wrote down what mattered and gave each thing a weight. That's all this is, and it works.
Decide what matters, and how much
List the things that matter to you. Schools, cost, safety, visas, weather: whatever is on your mind. Then give each one a weight.
A school that suits your child can count for far more than a nice beach. You decide.
See which city comes out on top, and why
Score each city from 1 to 5. The scorecard multiplies, adds up and ranks them for you.
It also shows why the winner won. So you can check the answer against your gut, and change a weight if it feels wrong.

Add your monthly budget and the costs you found for each city: school, rent, food, transport and bills.
You'll see what's left each month. You'll also see which cities leave less than you want to keep for travel and savings.
